My Goals for 2008 |

|
|
For a very long time now, I have felt myself heading in the direction of the USA and particularly towards racing in NASCAR!
A few years ago, while attending a NASCAR event in Miami, I had occasion to meet, among others, team owners Joe Gibbs, Richard Childress and Jack Roush. Their warm welcome to a driver from another horizon wanting to participate in NASCAR reinforced my resolve to pursue my goal. Having already raced for years in Europe, I immediately set out to obtain my NASCAR license.
In May of this year (2007), I tested at the Michigan International Speedway and then went on to participate in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series in Montreal in August.
My goal for 2008 is the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
Why the United States and why NASCAR? The USA represents for me the last place on this planet where someone with a dream like mine, who is ready to work hard and never give up, has the opportunity to attain that dream.
My years of proving that I could be among the better pilots in Europe and of managing to raise the necessary sponsorship funds have provided me with so many unforgettable challenging moments! Today, I am ready more than ever to live my American dream and be the first French driver in NASCAR for over 30 years, I am ready to work hard, to learn and to gain experience so that I can be among the best NASCAR drivers.
