On August 4, 2007, French 'Formula France' and motocross champion Michel Disdier will be the first Frenchman in over 30 years to participate in NASCAR.  A consummate test driver, Disdier has had his eye on racing heavy stock cars and ovals for some time.  Ironically, he will be making his debut at the same time as NASCAR's first ever event in Canada at the Gilles Villeneuve track in Montreal.
